Cycling MTB sunglasses with frame made of TPX, an evolution of nylon that makes it even lighter, floating and robust, optimal also to be dressed under the helmet. The polycarbonate photochromic lenses with antifog, impact resistant, protect the eyes every day, in the presence of sunlight, overcast or intermediate weather conditions. In addition, they are treated with a special resin which removes the condensation that forms on the lens surfaces in the transition from hot to cold. The reaction time of the photochromic lenses are very fast: only 8 seconds to go from clear to smoke, and 35 seconds from smoke to clear.
Sturdy and comfortable
LIght and super comfortable, perfect for mountain biking where you need a lightly tinted glass. The lenses and frame are thick and very sturdy, and stay in place really well. Fits well with a MTB helmet, and they protect the eyes well from rocks and branches on the trail. The anti-fog lenses are quite amazing, and I didn't get any fog even while wearing a pandemic mask.
The photochromic lenses do get slightly darker, but only with extremely bright sunlight. Ordinarily, they are quite clear (which is great for riding through shady areas). If you're looking for something that gets very dark, look elsewhere.
Be aware: The frames and lenses are quite thick, and they don't quite pass for ordinary sunglasses - more of a goggle without the bulky mask. I probably wouldn't walk around town with them on, but they serve their purpose on the trails.
